- Reviewed in Canada on July 20, 2021Verified PurchaseI have the adaptor to plug into my go pro or other camera or even cell phone if needed.
I also obtained a dead-cat wind cover from another vendor here but this one has one as well and it does work.
I find that as other suggest, it's a directional mic and as I've used Rhode mics this is comparable to the lower quality mics but I think that may be a lower body hit.
I like this one, sound is good but not as clear as it may be with a much more expensive mic as one must expect at this price point.
Overall this will work for me for a few year until something better comes out, I'm happy with the results however.
For new or intermediate vloggers this is the one you want.
- Reviewed in Canada on November 17, 2021Verified PurchaseI was definitely sceptical when I pulled this little thing out of the box. However, the sound is pretty great. If you have decent pre-amps you can get decent sound. Don't expect the best sound though if you're using your camera's pre-amps as they kinda suck. Given enough power, the mic performs really well for the money. I use this mic on a gimbal rig, and it has just enough clearance from the rear motor to shoot in the under-slung configuration.
- Reviewed in Canada on February 18, 2024Verified PurchaseInside the box, the little plastic baggy thing that the camera should of be wrapped in was crushed up and stuffed off to the side. It was obviously a return/refurb but all the parts were there and it works as expected.
I wanted a mic that would also capture some ambient sound - at 45 degrees the sound drops by 3/5 and at 180 degrees (the rear) it drops by 4/5...which is about what I was looking for. In front the sound is 5/5 and is great !

- Reviewed in Canada on April 22, 2022Verified PurchaseThis mic picks up my voice spot on. I love the overall design and engineering. Cuts out the wind, does very well out fits and the size is not overwhelming. I find it more compact then the Movo or the rode Mini mics, sounds better too.
- Reviewed in Canada on August 13, 2021Verified PurchaseI bought this as primary microphone for my Sony A7iii digital camera based on written reviews online. I haven't had the opportunity to use this in the real world yet, and I am optimistic that it will not disappoint. I am familiar of the brand and have had excellent experiences with it in the past.
- Reviewed in Canada on January 20, 2024Verified PurchaseIt's a great mic if you can and want to do post-processing to boost the levels and bring up the low tones. The actual sound quality is excellent (with those to caveats). I really like the small package and that it's easy to put into a bag without the fear of breaking something, and that it looks inconspicuous.

JOEL TETECATL COYACReviewed in Mexico on December 12, 2023
5.0 out of 5 stars PRODUCTO MUY RECOMENDABLE

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice, on-camera mic for reference and close-in work. Also good for capturing ambient sound.
Verified PurchaseA little shy on the lower frequencies but otherwise a good mic for compact, camera-top use. One can add to the bass frequencies in post production; too much bass can actually be more of a problem to clean up (so I like this balance and use this on-camera mic for a backup reference track).

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for most conditions. Easy to set up
Verified PurchaseGreat bullet mic and good for phone recordings. Used this for 2 years to record videos and podcasts on my phone. Finally switched to a lapel mic after all this time, but still keep this around and use it when the occasion is right. Definitely solid for a lot of situations. I've used it in windy conditions and near busy roads. It handles both as good as can be expected in harsh conditions.
