    Decent enough sound output, but the sub adds absolutely no low end as it's a tenth of the volume of the two speakers. Bad design in that regard, but about what you'd expect for $30/$40. If you're looking for decent low end, probably best to spend at least $100 or so.

    A very simple and compact set of stereo computer speakers. If using this with a desktop or laptop, only one cable is required - the USB cable. It's awesome that it draws power and transmits sound via this single cable, so no separate wall plug adapter is needed. This is great for those who like to minimize the tangled web of cables around your workspaces.

    I also like that they turn on and off automatically with your computer. Once you set the volume on the main speaker to a reasonable level, you'll likely never have to touch the speakers again, as the volume can be adjusted from within your computer's operating system.

    No instructions are included so I was a bit confused by the cables at first, and tried using both the USB cable and the 3.5mm cable. After reviewing the product webpage I realized that only the USB cable is needed, which is great. It would be ideal if the USB cable was a bit longer so you could have the option of positioning the main speaker further away from your computer, but the length is likely suitable for 95% of usage scenarios. Either way, you might want to measure the length/distance you require before ordering.

    The sound quality is excellent for a compact set of speakers. They can get surprisingly loud, and treble and bass come through clearly. They're more than suitable for anyone who isn't super fussy about sound quality.

    The build quality feels great and I like how they look. They don't look like real wood upon close inspection, and it is a veneer that's covering them (plastic, I think), but overall they have a nice aesthetic.

    The speakers look very nice on my desk but functionality is not their strong point. Very muted volume and bass is barely there. One of the speakers did not work properly. I believe may have a faulty input in the centre console/bass.
