Using this as a bedside lamp. The base is well weighted, pretty sturdy. The neck has a sort of rubberized coating, nice feel. For a bed or task light, the brightness is good, semi-diffuse, though maybe not bright enough for a worklight. USB ports are kinda handy, both A and C. In use, the buttons are ok. There is a dial for brightness, it doesn't have a set range though (no stops, can keep on spinning). The power cord is just a basic one (not braided). The arms can be independently rotated 90 deg., and the head orientated any which way so lots of options for everything except height.
