  • You can press ‘start’ while inserting the keyboard into the PC,Or press and hold start+x+y for five seconds while inserting the keyboard to start the application. Then visit 192.168 . 7.1 Configure in a web browser

  • You can go to huate42 Official website to get help

  • PS4 and PS5 consoles use authentication to ensure only authorized controllers are used. Without this, controllers face an 8-minute timeout. When using a PS4 controller in PC mode, no timeout occurs, but Xinput is recommended for best compatibility.

  • The GP2040-CE firmware enables file uploads for device authentication via the PS4 Mode add-on, resolving the timeout issue. With an OLED display, the input mode switches from PS4 to PS4:AS upon successful authentication with the PS4/PS5 console.

What a crazy low price for such a great hitbox. It’s very well made, seriously, this thing has weight and it’s super well made. The buttons feel great, and so does the surface of the hitbox. There’s even a screen that shows which buttons you’re pressing, it’s so sleek. Just make sure you update it on PC. Hold the start button and THEN plug it in, and it’ll boot up in config mode. Go on the HTTP site written on the booklet to configure it. And, very important, make sure to go on the Haute 42 website to install the latest update. Once downloaded, go back on that config page and you’ll be able to boot up the hitbox so that it appears as a drive on your pc. Then drop the downloaded file into it. The instructions were very unclear about that.

    Very nice for the price at first, but expect your buttons to start getting stuck in about a year's use. I also take very good care of it and wash it with rubbing alcohol but it doesn't change anything, gonna have to go for better gear IG.

    I only recently started using arcade sticks in the past few years but I've always wanted to try a leverless (hitbox) controller just to see how it was compared to the standard arcade stick (and of course it looked fun!). Only problem, like most sticks, proper quality hitboxes cost in the hundreds and I'm not willing to drop that kind of dosh on what is essentially experimentation. So just like my first stick (Quanba Drone), I looked for a cheap alternative and came across this, and holy crap was I satisfied with this purchase. Nice responsive buttons (that felt better than the stock buttons on my Quanba), compatible with just about anything you'd need it to be (with a workaround for Play Station) and it allows for customization via slotting in art inserts (you can either order some online from sites like Focus Attack, or make your own with photoshop and a printer). And yes, coming from a semi casual at fighting games it feels way better for me to use this over the regular arcade stick ( I can even execute EWGF consistently in Tekken now too!). Build quality is pretty solid for the cost and even if you don't customize it it looks pretty good. I can't really think of many downsides to this controller; if I get anymore arcade sticks, while I wouldn't mind using the standard arcade sticks, my preferred sticks are definitely gonna be leverless sticks like this one!
