Every now and then a masterpiece flies under the radar and is grossly ignored. This is one of those albums. With Terry Reid's silky smooth vocals and musical blends of country, blues, R&B and rock...this is a killer album from start to finish! Beautifully produced by Graham Nash (CSNY) giving it a nice warm feeling and backed by a host of lesser known musicians that are legends in thier own right. Amongst them is David Lindley, known for his work with the Eagles and James Taylor, he's a master of slide guitar and violin that adds perfect touches throughout!
For me this is one of the BEST releases from 1976 (or the entire 70's for that matter)!

5.0 out of 5 stars Ein leider viel zu unbekanntes Musik-Juwel der 70er!

I had Terry Reid's "River" in 1973, and it has never left my mind. When I came across this album in 2019, I bought it on the strength of a TV performance of 2 songs from this album on Jools Holland's programme. His voice was still as strong as ever, and the album is another knockout. Like so many reviewers I'm sorry that I didn't find this in the 1970s. But glad I have it now!!
