I have had this oven for 10 years and have never cleaned it. It was well over time and I wanted something that i wouldn’t have to worry about being toxic. I saw a video online of a woman cleaning her oven using this product and I decided to give it a try. I am so happy I did! The product is very simple to use. I wet the sponge and swirled it in the clay cleaner and it made a foam whilst I scrubbed. Occasionally I added a few drops of water to get a good sud going. It has a very light and pleasant lemon scent while cleaning and there isn’t an after smell that lingers. My husband did use a scrapper on the glass to get rid of the crusty build-up (it had been 10 years, after all!) but I credit the product and the Scrub Mommy for doing the tough work. The amount of brown water that rinsed from the sponge as I went was impressive! The sponge itself remained in great shape and I read that I can put it in the dishwasher to thoroughly clean it although I haven’t tried that yet. Must admit this is a thrill in my adulting, life haha!
