This item is wortheles. Cheapest material used. Not going to fix anything for anyone. Bought it to repair my kitchen cabinet door. Tried screwing it in to the small hole and malemine ripped the treads right off. Save your money and your time and walk away from this product.

    My son kept closing his door a little too hard and stripped the screws from the wood door over several years. My options were to fill, sand, try to align the holes again etc would have been a huge pain. I found these and it was super easy to put in and then rescrew the door hinge. Same holes all lined up and took me 5min to do.

    Super expensive. Super innefective for a simple repair.

    These are overpriced. While they do work, they are too costly for what they are. Most of the cone is wasted after being snapped off. I found using toothpicks, gromets, or wire caps are much, much cheaper, and work just as well, sometimes better.

    Why did you pick this product vs others?:
    I had a door with hinges coming loose from the frame due to the screw holes being stripped. After a little trial and error these worked great and I have quite a few bits left that I can probably use somewhere else if needed. Once I got the hang of it it went pretty quickly. The hinges are secure again and the door is opening and closing perfectly. Would recommend this product.
