I finally got around to turning a little alcove in one of our hallways into a little reading nook. We have no idea why this little alcove was designed into the house. It's just there. I installed some nice paneling and a set of shelves and there's enough room for a small comfy recliner. I wanted to put a light over the chair, for times when I actually read a paper book and not a self lit e-reader. I like the look of this light as the color of the fixture and glass itself went with the color of the paneling installed. So I got my buddy the electrician to run wires and hook this in for me. I put a lower wattage bulb in as a higher One was a little bit much right over my head. Your mileage may vary on that depending on where you install this. Quality of the fixture itself is very nice the finishes above standards for things in this price range and the glass itself has a nice antique look to it. All in all and very pleased with this. Great vintage light for different applications
