I ended up getting the old design schwalbe design, which is still my favourite for use on smaller road bike tires, but I prefer the pedros when working on mountain bike tires. Although I haven't used the new design schwalbe tire levers they do interest me.

    I feared the spoke hook was going to be too close to the tip but it works just as well if not better than my previous set.

    I haven't tried the mounting rim hooks yet as I've always used my hands (reduces the risk of pinch flats) and most of my tires are quite easy to mount... For the tighter ones it might be handy even when using my hands to finish up.

    I have carbon fibre wheels on my wheelchair with super tight high pressure Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires and if you use too narrow of a tire lever to install those tires you risk chipping the carbon fibre rim or just not being able to install the tires. These are wide and really thin so they don’t take up any space between the rim and the tire bead making it easier to install and remove tires that are extremely snug.
    After on use I am noticing some wear on one the levers. I’m ordering a backup set for sure as I’ve been on the hunt for these and I’m not losing now that I’ve found them!!!

    These tires levers are flimsy and bent further and further every-time I used them until one finally snapped. I only used them to change my tire about 6 times in total over a year.

    The part that hooks under your tire to pull it off also became significantly less effective with each use, it is too big to get in between the tire and the wheel.

    Not the worst levers out there, but would not buy them again.

    I have a bike with 622 sunrims, and I wanted to replace my existing tubes and tires. I bought Continental 700 x 23 tires, and appropriate tubes. Using fairly standard levers, it was easy to remove the existing items. But I fought for 45 minutes trying to get the new tire on (just one side). When I'd done that, it was easy enough to install the inner tube, partially inflated. But putting on the second bead of the tire was very frustrating. It was easy enough to put on about 80% of the tire, but then the remaining 20% was very tight. As I tried to lever the part of the tire at my right hand, it would flip into place, and I'd be happy, only to see that the previously installed bead on the left side had peeled away. Basically, the part of the bead that was still not in place, was moving around the tire as I tried to put it on. So I bought these Schwalbe tire levers. They are fantastic. Their main advantage is that they have a central clip that allows you to leave one of them in place, acting as a third hand, when you're installing the tire. So, as you work your way around the tire, you no longer displace the already installed bead, because the lever is holding it in place. A job that took more than an hour, and was frustrating, now takes 10 minutes, and is a pleasure.
