About this item

Attention: All scanning sprays contain solvents. Perform a material compatibility test before use to ensure no damage to the object.
Designed for 3D Scanning: Makes transparent, reflective, and other hard to 3D scan surfaces capturable by matting them and preserving surface detail with a thin 6.5 µm (approximately) coating.
Long Scan Time: Leaves an optimal surface for 3D scanning for up to 6 hours.
No Cleaning Needed: The coating will sublimate (dissolve) in around 6 to 24 hours (depending on the environment), leaving no residue behind.
Works on Surfaces: Adheres to all porous and non-porous surfaces such as textiles, wood, glass, painted surfaces, metal, plastic, stone, mortar, and paper.

very ingenious stuff. I am scanning a black model, so I tried this spray; it works very well. I used a light spray on the model, and it worked perfectly It just evaporates after use, so no cleanup is involved, and it didn't wash out any detail on the model

Item: Revopoint 3D Scanning Spray

This is a 3D scanning spray that makes transparent, reflective and hard to scan objects easier to scan.

The spray is applied to the object and create a thin matte surface that is more easily scanned. The spray is effective for up to six hours and sublimated in ~ 6 to 24 hours. No cleanup is required and no residue is left on the object.

Rhis spray turns a marginal scan into a good scan with minimal fuss.

Although this material is pricey, you can see why, when you use it the first time. the stuff just disappears in time and is pretty shocking for how good a quality it can make a scan. And then there's nothing to clean up afterwards. Highly recommend giving this a try if you're trying to do some 3D scanning and improve your quality of your scan.
