  • The enclosure supports M.2 SATA and NVMe SSDs in the following sizes: 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280. While it supports up to 8TB, it has been tested and verified to support SSDs up to 4 TB.

  • The Hub supports up to 10Gbps. Although the port from the Mac Mini is Thunderbolt 4 (Thunderbolt 5 for M4 Pro Mac Mini), the enclosure within the hub only supports USB 3.2 (10Gbps) transfer speeds.

  • The Mac Mini M4 Hub is BUS-powered directly through the USB-C connection to the Mac Mini, eliminating the need for an external power supply.

  • Yes, but note that our Mac Mini M4 hub is a bus power hub and has a shared wattage and data bandwidth. While all ports work simultaneously, we advise using 1 drive at a time for optimum performance.
