Great For Sanding Many Materials Down, Helped Me Sand Plastic Pieces Smooth.
These are very competent sanding blocks; they work very well on many different materials. I tried these out on some plastic shelving that was sticking, I used the 100 grit and worked my way up to 400 grit and they now open and close smoothly. Very good and looks like they’ll last a long time.

    Before finding these I used a stone to re-bevel tile edges after cutting on the wet saw. I only used the 60 grit from this pack, but it worked quite well. It was much faster and easier than the stone I used to use, and lasted through my whole shower tiling job.

    These are excellent for giving your cut tiles a more professional edge. However, after just a few days the diamond coated steel plate separated from the foam brick. I’m not sure how to glue them back on considering the wet environment with my wet saw.

    So far, these standing sponges impressed me. The Sponges are high-density foam, giving the sponge a rigid structure while being soft on the hands. The diamonds appear to be attached well to the metal plate, as after using the sponges for a bit, the diamond pieces still appear to be attached. A diamond sharpening stone can last a really long time if the diamonds stay attached to the metal plate. I’ve had some diamond sharpening devices that lost their grit after the first use, so even though I only used the sponges one time, from the single use, the sponges appear to be of high quality and hopefully last a while.

    I was happy to get these as we are currently doing a large master bath tile job. We have used them to polish cuts on 45 degree angles and they sure do the job. Its nice to have different grits available to fine tune cuts on stone.
