- Reviewed in Canada on August 13, 2023Verified PurchaseI carry this with me on my side by side for small downed trees or brush on trail and it works amazing. It is very sharp and handles up to apx. 5" green wood with ease. Note: do not cut any dry stubs or branches it will dull it quite fast. It is a little bit pricy considering other options but for an avid outdoors person you will truly appreciate this saw.
- Reviewed in Canada on May 13, 2020Verified PurchaseHandy saw for trimming small and large branches (we cut up to 8" diameter, easily, if not larger!), from any angle. Amazingly versatile since you can saw with either hand and hold on to the ladder/fence/tree/yourself with the other. I was a little skeptical ordering this, but it has proven its worth several times in the months we've had it. The holster is actually a great feature -- when you're up the ladder and need to use both hands to move around, holstering the saw is safest, as it is quite sharp.
Highly recommend this thing -- it's far better than any other pruning saw I've ever used, short of an actual chainsaw!
- Reviewed in Canada on November 14, 2020Verified PurchaseThis is a workhorse of a blade!
Keeps going & going after the reciprocating saw blade dulls.
Cut through a piece of 6 inch cedar like butter.
Blade stays sharp even after it takes a beating on a cedar hedge.
Very ergonomic, lovely to use.
Highly recommend!
- Reviewed in Canada on July 23, 2024Verified PurchaseI love it for cutting down branches and pruning. So handy and effortless.
Highly recommended it.
- Reviewed in Canada on January 20, 2021Verified PurchaseVery sharp saw. I keep it in my atv. Can cut through small undergrowth with one pull, almost like a knife. Makes short work of clearing branches off the trail.
My only complaint is that it can be a little bendy if you’re sawing quickly and it jams. That might just be my technique.
Would recommend.
- Reviewed in Canada on April 26, 2021Verified PurchaseI switched from a Brand with S to this saw. It fits my hand just perfectly, and cuts away all trees I come along on my ATV ride. Pretty sharp, good to handle.
Ridiculous are the spare saw blades. They cost more than the whole saw.
I would buy it again and again. Very happy with it.
- Reviewed in Canada on March 31, 2021Verified PurchaseDid not waste time getting the job done up in the trees . Works well for branches 2 to 3 inches in diameter.
Light weight and good grip . Did not like the loop for carrying the case on my hip and lack of any loops for securing to the leg . Had to improvise with ties .
- Reviewed in Canada on October 28, 2022Verified PurchaseCosts more than it should, but does work well. Case is also excellent

5.0 out of 5 stars Best pruning saw I've ever used.
Verified PurchaseI’m a weak, elderly, short female gardener. I have significant arthritis and nerve pain in my shoulders, arms, and hands. I used this wonderful saw to prune two hurricane damaged, large 30+ year old Japanese maple trees. It cut beautifully! I’m so happy with this saw! I love it!
