If I hadn't been the one to buy it, I'd assume this phone was new. I've been buying refurbished and open box deals for decades and this is one of the best looking flips I've ever gotten. Battery is about 85-90% of new, but that's the only sign of it not being new. Came with the Samsung adaptive charger and cord, even.

Update: A year later, had an issue with the screen starting the dreaded ink blot. My fault, water damage from a spilled drink. However, what wasn't my fault was the condition of the internals when it was opened for repair. The main board is not a canadian one. G781V. Verizon board. Probably replaced because of the massive damage the original took before whichever company got their hands on it to "refurbish" it. I say massive damage because the whole corner of the top board (NFC antenna/wireless charging, etc) and bezels surrounding the cameras, were busted off and missing. Explains the reception issues I was having, and various glitchy behaviours. Too late for me to have anything done, but I can still pass on the warning.
Whoever rebuilt this phone did just enough to get it working, and didn't care about matching parts properly. Or they didn't know better, which is even worse.
