While testing them out, I also discovered it takes a fair bit of strength to open them- it's quite awkward. I think fumbling around with them over time would scratch the finish of the stove, which actually IS mentioned in the description!

    This is a great option for protecting little ones from playing with stove knobs but unfortunately they didn’t fit properly on the Samsung gas stove we have. We could not rotate them when closed as there was not enough of a gap between the back of the knob and the front. Although I like the idea of a clear knob colour I also quickly realized the extra maintenance in keeping it clean. I exchanged these for the clear black knob covers which fit the same but we modified them in order to fit and they have held up pretty well!

    passen nicht bei unserem herd weil zu gross. ausserdem muss man die knöpfe so fest drauf stecken, dass man diese dann mit dem riesen aufsatz drehen und somit den !elektroherd" aufdrehen kann. sogar noch besser weil man dadurch ein höheres drehmoment hat... also vollkommen ungeeignet ausser für gasherd wo die knöpfe einen gewissen abstand haben.
