    The unit is a full steel tang and very beefy for cutting/chopping.

    The handle is the biggest bone of contention for personal safety on use. The handle is way to small for a good grip and there is no finger holds to help control the knife.

    You can try beefing it up with tape but you'll just have sticky hands.
