Highly blendable when dry, smudge with either the fingertips or a blending stump to create a variety of artistic effects. Dramatic results can be achieved when used on dark backgrounds and delicate papers, too. Areas or outlines can be lightened or highlighted. Partially aquarellable, the pigments can also be worked brush and water; the contours will remain visible. These premium chalk-pastels have high pigmentation with excellent light-fastness – and for superior results the finished artwork can be treated with a fixative.

... nel 2023 a 46 euro, il rapporto qualità prezzo era buono. Ora che sono aumentati di ben 15 euro so di aver beccato una buona offerta perché il prezzo attuale è in linea con quello di altri rivenditori. Comunque io li trovo meravigliosi: non avevo mai dipinto con questo tipo di matite, che poi sono carboncini, e ne sono affascinata e conquistata. Rendono alle mie illustrazioni da principiante molta più profondità, ricchezza di sfumature e bellezza di qualunque altro supporto. Li ho amati così tanto che 36 mi cominciavano ad andare stretti, così ho comprato molti colori in più, ma non qui: singolarmente non sono affatto convenienti su �鶹��, dove un solo colore può costare dai 2.50 fino a più di 6 euro; io ho preso tutti i colori che mi mancavano altrove e a 1,96 euro. Nessun problema di punta spezzata nonostante la fragilità insita del carboncino: ma consiglio di usare un temperamatite a fresa, di quelli a manovella: con l'elettrico non si possono dosare bene la pressione e la forza, con il manuale è impossibile ottenere punte affilate e si arriva a spezzare facilmente ben prima di arrivare a un po' di punta, e il taglierino è per super esperti, io non sarei capace di usarlo senza rompere tutto e magari affettarmi una falange!. Avevo un temperamatite a manovella costoso che si è rivelato molto meno buono del secondo più economico, ancora funzionante dopo tanto uso. Vi metto il nome se siete interessati: è il Darley DAHLE temperamatite 133. Buona arte a tutti!

These are some of the best pastel pencils I've used. They're such a good value for how many you get. The color selection of the 36 set is great, though it is lacking some grays. If you buy the 36 set, I would recommend buying a few of their warm and cool gray colors individually as well to round out your set.
These pastels are nice and smooth, I find they don't crumble as easily as some other brands do. I always use a craft knife to sharpen them, I find they tend to break less if you sharpen them that way versus a sharpener. They work wonderfully on Pastelmat paper.
I think the 36 set with the edition of a few extra gray pencils would be perfect for any beginner artist looking to get started with pastels!

Confezione da 36 pastelli secchi, non sono matite, tantomeno acquerellatili, sono pastelli secchi, carboncini insomma, colorati. Quale differenza c'è con le matite? Sono molto più "polverosi", ve ne accorgerete utilizzandoli, lasciano molta polvere sul foglio, sono perfettamente sfumatili, con dito o con sfumino, si mischiano benissimo l'uno con l'altro e potrete ottenere degli effetti stupendi.
Attenzione però! Serve una carta adatta, non potete utilizzarli con i normali fogli di carta da disegno, dovete procurarvi della carta da pastello secco, sennò viene un pasticcio.
Una volta ultimato il disegno è bene "fissarli", con un fissante apposito o con della banale lacca per capelli, così il vostro disegno non si rovinerà.
Anche per temperarli dovete avere un minimo di cura, i normali temperini li rovineranno, sono molto fragili e necessitano del loro temperino apposito, in vendita separatamente anche qua su amazon. Ho provato con il temperino elicoidale ma la punta si spezza, e ne buttate via metà per un disegno.
Altro consiglio: conservate le punte rotte o la mina che ottenete dal temperarli, potrete riutilizzarla per creare sfondi sfumati.
Io ne sono molto soddisfatta, sono divertenti e vi permetteranno di fare disegni un po' diversi dal solito, quanto meno di sperimentare una nuova tecnica.
Li consiglio, anche per l'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo che hanno.
