5.0 out of 5 stars Perfetto
Verified PurchaseQuesta è l'unica e migliore soluzione. Assicuratevi però di avere la tanica originale No-Spill. Altrimenti non si adatta. Ma questo è scritto chiaramente anche nella descrizione del prodotto.

1.0 out of 5 stars BEWARE!! No-Spill is NOT responsive to warranty claims!
Verified PurchaseI have quite a few No-Spill containers, not all of which are pictured. They probably range from 3-5 years old.
A few years ago I had a problem with the nozzle (lid) on one not screwing down tight for some reason - it acted like a stripped screw in that it would only tighten so far, then "slip" and start retightening again. Note that the nozzle doesn't fit flat on the can.
I forget now whether I called or wrote the company at the time, but I *finally* got someone to respond, a guy who was 'on the road' and wasn't very responsive. After a few back and forths of "try this, try that" and un-returned contacts I just gave up and decided that I just wouldn't fill that can as full as the others. Eventually, although upset about the situation, I bought a new nozzle or two.
NOW, I have a *few more cans* that are in the same predicament. (I seem to recall that the man I spoke a few years ago said that the plastic of the can and that of the nozzle are dissimilar and expand/contract at different rates once exposed to fuel) So I sought out replacement nozzles (lids) and saw them here on 鶹 (less expensive) as well as from the company, so I bought four of them.
Once they arrived I tested all four of them with full containers, both tilting them and turning them upside down - as as I often do when filling my vehicles. ALL FOUR leaked. (I also tested my years-old cans in the same way and none leaked) In addition, the new green button, which I didn't notice when I ordered the nozzles, is MUCH harder to push. So... I called 鶹 and arranged to return them, telling them what I had done, and clearly noting that the nozzles smelled of fuel since I tested them. The customer service guy didn't consider that a problem, asked me whether I wanted to replace them or just return them, and I told him that I just wanted to return them.
In the meanwhile, I still have at least three cans with nozzles I can't rely on/which spill fuel, so I thought I'd contact No-Spill and see what they had to say. I shouldn't have bothered. On December 28th I wrote to No-Spill via their web contact form, and ALSO left a message on their voicemail. By the way, here's what their website says about responsiveness: "Please use our Contact Form for questions or comments. All inquiries will be addressed within 24 hours." Yeah, right.
Here's the note I sent:
I own quite a few (around 20) No-Spill 5 gallon diesel and gasoline containers, every one of which was bought after 2010.
In the past few years, I've had trouble with leaking nozzles due to the nozzles not fitting the top of the can properly - they were angled instead of sitting flat at the point where the nozzle meets the lip of the can.
At that time I pursued the matter, but there was a notable delay in someone at No-Spill getting back to me, he was traveling, etc. so I ended up just buying new nozzles.
More recently, I've started to have the same trouble with other cans, so earlier this month I decided to buy more nozzles since my leaking ones are out of warranty.
I bought four new ones on 鶹 because the cost was less than buying directly from No-Spill.
I've just spent the last half-hour or more assessing the new nozzles (different, harder to push green button model) for fit and leak resistance. ALL FOUR leaked from the nozzle area when the cans were turned upside down.
I called 鶹, and they've sent me a label to return them, but that doesn't solve my problem, since the old leaking cans (nozzles) leak when fueling our cars, and as previously stated, the new ones leak when turned upside down.
My problem is this: I'm not about to reorder more new nozzles from 鶹 (or directly from No-Spill) unless I have a reasonable expectation that the new ones won't leak.
I'd like some help in getting a solution to my leaking nozzle problem.
Please give me a call and thank you.
P.S. - I've also left a voicemail message about my issues.
***
The other day I called and left another message, noting my earlier attempt at contacting them. As I type this more than TWO WEEKS since my first communcations, I still have heard nothing.
BEWARE!!!
Although when the cans/nozzles work, they're great, there's no way in (that really hot place) that I would buy any more products from No-Spill. If you decide to buy this product anyway, I **strongly* encourage you to give them a thorough test (including first pressing the button while the can is upright) before deciding whether or not to keep them. DO NOT count on No-Spill being responsive to warranty claims.
