It's taken me longer to fiddle with this than I had originally hoped. First impressions is that this is a pretty awesome kit. The only complaint so far, is that in order to connect an OBS scene-transfer, I seem to require a wireless network connection to OBS (plugin configuration) even though the device is plugged into the same computer as is running OBS. I don't know the software reasoning for this, but it doesn't make a lot of sense, seeing I can use an external keyboard and macro a scene-switch without wirelessly connecting the wired keyboard to OBS. If further study of the device changes the perspective, I'll update the review

I'm not a steamer, but I was hoping for a device that could help me with sound and music control in a more useful way. This does that pretty nicely.

Firstly, the buttons all work, no issues with that. The visuals and colours seem to be bright and functional. The knobs are nice and smooth as well. The program is also very easy to use. As someone who isn't good with software or general computer stuff, this wasn't hard to set up. The option to use a provided sticker to stick this against something or to put this on a 45 angle is nice. Additionally, the cord it comes with is nice and has an adapter thing so you have the choice to use it as a USB or another port.

While I didn't use any, there are a ton of online presets that are super cool, like the one for the codes for HellDivers. This really goes to show how diverse this is. My only complaint is that the plastic feels a bit cheap for it's price, but otherwise I'm really happy with the way this turned out!

Me personally I have it setup more as a physical start button/taskbar. One page has frequent apps I'll bounce around to, one page is setup for monitoring system performance, and another is to control spotify. Over time im sure my list will grow. It's super cool that the buttons have lcd screens in them, leaves a lot of room to personalize it!
Setup is fairly straight forward, although syncing it with Spotify takes a few minutes, reading an some good faith from the maker as you have to give the program some permissions over your Spotify account.
The link to the manual on the website was down so I couldn't download a manual and had to wing it on the setup. Thankfully it was easy enough and everything is dragging an drop!
Overall I wish I had one of these sooner lol

SOOMFON Stream Controller SE Deck with 6 Macro Keys and Dashboard.....

Things got off to a bad start!
Entering the address given in the enclosed user guide just ended up opening a google search for the address detail, not starting the software download as it should do. In the end, entered the address that was in the instructions, but left out the https:// at the beginning, just entering the rest of it.

I did a Kaspersky check on the downloaded file and it passed OK.
When the software was installed and the deck connected, the deck was correctly recognised as CN002_1216 and the layout was displayed on the screen.

There are some preprogrammed actions for the buttons / knobs. Any or all of these can be changed to what you want, or even blanked out.

Multiple screens (of 9 keys and four knobs) can be created and you can easily step through them.
Web addresses / links can be entered to give a one key access to a web site at a push of a button. The buttons can also be programmed with short cut ('hot') keys to act in the same way as if you were using them in a programme.
A program can also be opened up at a press of a key by just entering the details.

Whilst easy to change things, it takes a bit of experimenting to start with.

The enclosed quick start manual shows the basics . It can also be downloaded from the Soomfon site, but it would have been nice to have something a bit more detailed to download as well.
The site is worth looking at for support, and the software can also be downloaded from there. Just do a search for Soomfon.

This deck works well, although it may be a bit limited if you want to something more complicated. However it is very useful if you want shortcut keys that you might want to use frequently. One thing I find this useful for is when using Home Assistant and want to swap between dashboards. As each dashboard / sub dashboard has its own web address, it's as simple as copying and pasting that address to a button.

Tengo una Stream Deck (15 teclas) de Elgato y cuando vi esta me encantó por tener algo que echo muchísimo de menos de la stream deck, que son ruedas y botones configurables adicionales a parte de los botones LCD comunes. Y la verdad es que estoy encantado con este Stream Controller.

Personalmente no lo uso para stremear, pero si para controlar más fácilmente el volumen del PC, para pausar y reproducir la música y para gestionar mis escenas en OBS para mis grabaciones. Todo un acierto el cambio, no podría estar más contento, solo por la facilidad con la que se puede ajustar el volumen da gusto. Una compra totalmente recomendable
