The software is perfectly fine. There's no virus warnings. Google the companies name, go to their website, download software for the device you own. It's really that simple.
Functionality seems good, response time is fast when pressing buttons, a little slow when switching screens. Creating custom icons was easy and setting up macros was also easy. Keys are a little mushy, but so are streamdecks.
My one gripe is I didn't realize this was a USB powered device as the photo's show no cord, competitors products all show cords in the photo's for devices that require them. This device doesn't. I foolishly assumed it was wireless.
For half the price of the competitors it's a good product. Hopefully they keep the software updated and adding features.
