Motor was loose in shipping bag, manufacturer box not properly sealed and arrived damaged. Unusable and plastic insulator broke and mounting screws bent
This bathroom fan replacement motor is exactly what I was looking for my tiny bathroom. This one works out to 35watt (29Amp), which was stated on my old fan motor, but I missed it when ordered one before with 65Amp, it was way too strong and loud, so I returned it right away. This 29Amp fan motor can be hardly heard, even it has a strong suction. It's perfect, the price very reasonable, and delivery was quick. Do check the Amperes or watts on your old fan before ordering. I highly recommend this fan motor replacement, it is easy to install within a few minutes. 5 stars!
I did not understand the installation note that you have to swap the end cap of the motor with the shaft end but now I do. Once you do the swap it fits properly into place and can be mounted solidly onto the assembly. It was a relatively easy install and it worked! The motor size is smaller, this was rated at 0.29A 3000 RPM and my original was 0.79A and 2500 RPM. Its rated at 50 CFM which is the same as the original but somehow the tissue test seems to indicate that the air exhaust flow rate is less as some reviewers have also stated. At least this one is not coated with layers of dust the original had.
Works great, after disassembling the screw assembly and turning it around and re-assembling (they admit one has to do this). Much cheaper than buying the whole housing panel.
