    We used the saw for a 9”x 13” white ash dressed
    timber. The splintering was bad. However we were able to get around that by making a very shallow score on the timber. Had we known this, we would have cut the lengths we needed before dressing the timber. I see others have had the same problem. Perhaps softwood is where this saw shines!
    It has some good features such as the oiler as well as the chain and bar adjustments……little bit of a pain draining the chain oil with the screen in the fill port.
