How to Use
Sharpen Knife
- Securely hold the knife on a flat, stable surface with cutting edge facing up.
- Lower the sharpener down so that the cutting edge is resting in the bottom of the V-Notch slot. Then apply moderate downward pressure to pull the sharpener across the cutting edge from heel to tip in direction of indicator arrows.
- Repeat above action until blade is sharp.
Sharpen Wide Bevel Blades
- Lower the sharpener down so that the cutting edge is resting in the bottom of the V-Notch slot. Then apply moderate downward pressure to pull the sharpener across the cutting edge from one end to the other in direction of indicator arrows. Follow the contour of the blade as you pull.
- Repeat above action until desired sharpness is achieved.
Sharpen Scissors
- Hold the sharpener with one hand on a flat, stable surface. With another hand secure the blade of your scissors that you want to sharpen as much as possible with the cutting edge exposed.
- Make sure the beveled side of blade is fully leaned against the CARBIDE blade. Draw the scissors from hinge to tip in direction of indicator arrows.
