    These pads are fine if you’re dropping weight from your hip but even then, it could bounce off into your shin/toe. These pads are extremely bouncy. Dropping from shoulder height or overhead you have to almost keep your hands on the barbell them to prevent from bouncing off into yourself or the floor. They protect the floor and seem to be made ok but just not soft enough for dropping more than hip or knee height. Not to mention there’s no actual dimensions posted either which is a negative if you want a specific size. Spend your money elsewhere if you want a softer pad.

    Yes I know these are for dropping bumper plates when doing clean and jerks, but I use them for my home gym to protect my dumbbells and my floors. I set them up on each side of my bench and after benching to failure on a flat bench I don't have to try to sit up with them I can just drop them on the pads and save my shoulders and my back and my floors
