Professional Tool: SEEKSELF Brake Line Flaring Tool Kit can be used to create 45-degree single, double and bubble brake flares on stainless steel, steel and some soft metal tubing like copper. Includes 4 Sets of Die Blocks, suitable for 3/16"(4.75mm), 1/4"(6.35mm), 5/16"(8mm) and 3/8"(9.5mm) O.D. lines.
How to Mount and Use: The bottom of the tool should be clamped by a reliable vise, make sure the tool is firmly held before use. NOT suitable for use under car. The set comes with a paper graphic instruction manual.
Precautions: Wear goggles and gloves before operating the tool, and stay away from others to prevent debris from popping up when turning the handle.
Package Includes: Brake Line Flaring Tool Body (Vise Mounted); 4 Types of Split Dies: 3/16"(4.75mm), 1/4"(6.35mm), 5/16"(8mm) and 3/8"(9.5mm); Long Lever Handle; Instruction Manual; Plastic Suitcase.

I am fairly mechanically inclined however never actually flare brake lines. I spent several hours with an old school flaring tool on my Ni-Cop line without much success.
I then borrowed a Bluepoint Hydraulic flaring tool. That proved too aggressive for the softness of Ni-Cop line.
I then purchased this and, well, the pictures speak for themselves.
This was my result after 2 tests and it provides consistent results.
The uglier of the two on the right is the Bluepoint Hydraulic bender. The nice clean one on the left is this tool.

The little knurl marks on the nice one was actually from earlier testing with the Bluepoint. This tool is a nice smooth die.

It does not make a proper 3/8 or 3/16 flare.
The 3/16 double flare comes out with a small bulge below the flare and does not allow the flare nut to seat properly and stripping the threads on the flare nut.
Just waste $160.00 on brake line to find out this tool is not worth it.

Habe das Set als Ergänzung zu meinem Handbördelgerät gekauft. Es funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Einsätze machen einen wertigen Eindruck. Die Bördelung funktioniert jedesmal perfekt.
Lediglich die Beschreibung hätte man mit Bildern für jeden verständlicher erklären können. Bei dem Gerät ist ein Schraubstock nötig. Am besten arbeitet man damit an der Werkbank. Zur Bördelung sollte man mindestens 5cm plus die Überwurfmutter einplanen, wenn man danach eine Biegung der Leitung vornimmt. Dh. meistens vorher bördeln, dann biegen. Die Bördelung geht viel schneller vonstatten, als mit dem Handgerät, da man beim Handgerät die Backen durch Schrauben mit einer Ratsche abwechselnd festziehen muss. Hierbei war die Gefahr, dass sich die Leitung beim bördeln nach hinten wegdrückt. Habe deshalb die Leitung und das Handbördelgerät immer mit Bremsenreiniger entfettet. Das bei diesem Gerät nicht nötig.
Man wählt die gewünschte Bördelungsform zb. DIN E 4.75mm aus, legt die Druckstücke in das Gerät ein, indem man den Hebel öffnet. Nun befindet sich ein Festanschlag am Bördelgerät. Dort drückt man die Druckstücke ran, legt die Leitung ein, sodass sie etwas nach vorne herausragt bzw. nach den Klemmbacken sichtbar ist.
Anschließend sorgt man dafür, dass die Klemmbacken genau zentriert übereinander stehen. An den Backen sind kleine Fixiernippel bzw. Positionsnippel angebracht. Man schließt den Klemmbügel, sichert ihn mit einem Federbolzen und klemmt vorerst die Leitung leicht fest.
Nun sucht man sich am Revolver die flache Anschlagmutter und zieht am großen Bördelhebel mit Kugel am Griff, sodass sich die Leitung in die richtige Position nach links verschiebt (man hat diese vorher nur leicht geklemmt)
Nun spannt man den Niederhalter der Pressbacken fest, zieht den Hebel mit Kugel zurück und wählt sich die gewünschte Bördelung am Revolver aus. Nun etwas Spezialfett auf den Bördelungsnippel geben und den Spannhebel komplett zu sich ziehen. Die Leitung wird sich nach links drücken. Die Bördelung ist fertig.
Die Entnahme erfolgt in umgekehrter Reihenfolge.
Der Vorgang dauert nur 1 Minute zur fertigen Bördelung. Die Bördelung sieht perfekt aus. Beim Handgerät dauert das Festspannen und die Positionierung wesentlich länger. Das beim stationären Gerät die Handlichkeit nicht gegeben ist, dürfte jeden klar sein. Um aber eine Leitung zb. bei einem Oldtimer komplett nachzubauen, ist dieses Gerät perfekt.
Ich hoffe, ich konnte einigen Schraubern weiterhelfen.
