I bought this piano for my 2yo son. He discovered pianos recently and I thought this would be perfect for him. It's small, he can use it and it makes noise. Both music and animal noises. He loves it!

As far as sound quality, it is very loud, which I personally like. I do wish it didn't start loud but that's fine. The sound isn't perfect but... it's for a kid... who just wants to hit keys and makes sounds it is perfect. He loves it.

The only problem I have with it, is that the part that holds batteries does not hold them very tightly, they get bumped out easily. It's an easy fix but... I did at at first think it didn't work because I couldn't get it to turn on.

I bought it to use in a music classroom and it worked fine when I plugged it into my computer at home but when I put batteries in (yes, they were in the right way) it didn't work. Then when I plugged it into the computer it worked but it cooked the batteries. Luckily it made a sound when it shorted out and I was able to unplug it and take the batteries out. There was obviously an issue with the battery connection. Won't buy again

My granddaughter didn't tell me this till after the return window, which was only one. month after she received it for Christmas. While I'm disappointed with the product and its return policy, their service agent did reach out and provide a possible fix. It seems to have corrected the issue in the short term. Their prompt response was appreciated.

A warning to future buyers. Be careful when pulling out of the box because the plastic handle on the box can mangle the keys. They package it with the keys hitting the inside of the box's plastic handle, so when you try to slide and pull the keyboard out of the box, you are actually damaging the keys. One of the keys is all crooked but it still works but annoying to look at. Second time we buy this keyboard though. The first one went to hell and back with an infant and withstood a lot of punishment.
