There is only one area where these pens are not absolutely perfect. It may only be an issue when colouring intricate designs. The gel flows in abundance which sacrifices control. It seems like you touch the paper and drop of gel comes out and then you distribute it with a very light touch.

Overall, would I recommend these pens? Absolutely. However, if you use the pens to colour, I would not make this my only set.

Pricey, but worth it if you like the Gelly, and is a wonderful addition to really anyone's arts and crafts collection. Has a wide range of colors, effects, and uses as advertised. All pens are highly saturated and look amazing on a variety of mediums, the only one I have trouble with at times is the Stardust Gold, which is somewhat expected due to the translucency of the Stardust set and is easily fixed by layering more gelly if need be. My one criticism is that some pens have quite a gap in consistency, even between sets, with the Gold & Silver shadow set having the largest gap. The ink in that set tends to be quite viscous and goopy as compared to the others, some of the pens draw finely, while others draw very thick or are straight up inconsistent, and still now have finnicky flows despite getting constant use in my experience. This keeps me from giving it 5 stars, however nothing/nobody is perfect and I love my gelly roll to itty bitty pieces.
