Purchasing this all-in-one Ryobi Door Installation kit will make mortising a breeze! This kit, perfect for home improvement projects, attaches snugly to any standard sized door with the built-in plastic clamp, eliminating rocking or other movements while you rout that perfect square or rounded hinge mortise. You don’t need to be worried about lacking the right bit for the job, because we have a routing bit included in this system so you can get down to business ASAP! Be even more confident with the widths and depths of your cuts thanks to the onboard adjustment tool and bit depth gauge. Installing a door latch can take time and special tools that you might not already have. Add this Ryobi Door Latch Kit to your collection to make installing that latch a breeze. All you need is this kit and a hammer! This easy to use kit provides a reversible scoring blade which allows you to install either round or square latches. A guide post found within the blade helps to locate the latch bore. Then, use the 90 degree fence to help guide a perfectly angled score. Once lined up, firmly tap the areas that read “strike” to create a perfect score. Finish the mortising job by using the integrated chisel tool. Line up the edge of it with the guide post and use the hammer to gently chisel remaining pieces of wood off. Lastly, you can use the included drill bits to install screws to your latch. Place the bit into the notch at the end of the tool and twist away.
