Great to know how much propane is left
The gauge works well. Of course, my propane tank didn't have a gauge and I was caught a few nights ago when the propane tank ran empty. I installed this gauge on my newly filled tank and the gauge shows in the green and almost full on the Cold Day scale. I like the three different scales on this gauge as the gas would contract and/or expand based on the temperature. The large knob on the gauge to attach to the propane tank is easy on the hands and allows for a good grip to ensure tightness. The BBQ hose that connects to the covered end of this gauge has plenty of clearance. I did test to ensure the gauge past the gas to the BBQ and it lit up as always. I even checked the gauge the following day after installation, and it was in the same spot as the previous day so no leaks.
