OUR DANISH LUXURY COOKIES ARE BAKED IN DENMARK

The Royal Dansk brand was established in 1966 where a range of crisp, delicious and luxury products were born. The cookies were packed and delivered in a recognizable tin showing the old Danish farmhouse named "Hjemstavnsgaard" from the island of Funen in Denmark. The tin was used to maintain freshness of the cookies. It was resealable and reusable for storing in general, and some people used it simply as a bowl to serve from. It's a matter of no surprise that it was known as The Blue Tin. Today the Royal Dansk Butter Cookies are enjoyed all over the world, and the cookies are just as delicious as the ones baked so many years ago. The design has been slightly modernized to follow the trend of today. The recognizable royal blue packagings and the Royal Dansk brand are, as always, a mark of high quality.

    When I ordered this charming little SINGER sewing basket, I imagined myself finally becoming the kind of person who casually says things like, ¡°Oh, I¡¯ll just stitch that up real quick!¡± Instead, I became the kind of person who opens a sewing kit and finds¡ªsurprise!¡ªnothing but butter cookies.

    Not a needle in sight, but enough Danish-style butter cookies to make me question every decision I¡¯ve ever made¡­ and then go back for seconds.

    There were no spools of thread. No pincushion. The measuring tape was conspicuously absent, possibly hiding under the sea of sugary shortbread like a textile Loch Ness monster.     Eventually, I did find some sewing accessories buried beneath the cookie carnage: a lonely thimble, one safety pin, and what I think was a haunted bobbin. The scissors looked like they were included more out of obligation than usefulness. The whole setup whispered, ¡°Sure, you could sew¡­ but wouldn¡¯t you rather eat?¡±

    The basket itself is fantastic, though¡ªsturdy, well-made, and now permanently imbued with the gentle aroma of butter and poor impulse control. Once I cleaned out the crumbs and accepted my fate, I filled it with real sewing supplies from a separate purchase and now feel moderately competent.

    I recently bought them in the UAE from Â鶹Çø and these biscuits were stale, as if they were one month old and left drying up in the open air.
