    Unlike some other reviews, this pad fit our Rowena ironing board perfectly. While it may not be as thick as the original and does not have ties, it goes on easy enough and is quite stable when on. The board is heavy duty and wonderfully wide so we are pleased to renew it to like new. I understand that no other pad, even wide ones, would fit this board. Price was reasonable considering the board with pad is pricy although worth every penny!

    I own a Rowenta ironing board for my steam iron. You would think they make a proper good quality ironing cover that would fit their extra wide long ironing board, but nooooooo. This doesn't fit (my fault, I should have read the size, but even then, I searched on the internet and I can't seem to find it). But that's not the problem. The problem is how THIN and crappy the ironing board cover is. I went with a generic brand instead. Please Rowenta, make a better ironing board cover your customers who bought your ironing boards; and make them good quality too just like your irons.

    I am not sure why this product is getting such bad reviews. It fits the Rowenta ironing board perfectly, has adequate cushioning, and my Rowenta iron glides easily over it. I was worried about purchasing it after reading other people’s comments but personally I have no complaints.

    Rowenta is supposedly a good name; but, its ironing board cover with attached pad is less than it should be. The pad is not as thick as a previous one; the cover itself is barely wide enough and, more annoyingly, there are not strings to tie under the cover to hold it snug. I purchased small bungy cords which helped. I purchased a second cover and pad from another vendor at about the same price which is much thicker and has strings to keep the cover snug. I will use the Rowenta cover but replace it with the better one after this one wears out.
