From the manufacturer

Men's Rogaine Hair Regrowth Treatment
5% Minoxidil Foam, Three Month Supply.
As we age, hair follicles begin to shrink, leading to thinning hair (or loss of hair density). Men’s Rogaine 5% Minoxidil Foam gets to the root of the problem to reactivate shrunken hair follicles, allowing for new, fuller, younger-looking hair to regrow.
Statistics show that almost 40% of all men will show some degree of hair loss by the age 35. That figure climbs to 65% among men 65 and over. People experience hair thinning and loss when hair follicles get progressively thinner and shallower with every cycle. Rogaine is clinically proven to revitalize follicles, reduce hair loss, and regrow hair.

Men’s Rogaine’s Active Ingredient: Minoxidil
Men’s Rogaine contains minoxidil, which revitalizes hair follicles, likely causing them to shift from a dormant phase to an active growing phase.
Scientists believe that minoxidil works by aiding the blood flow to the hair follicles in your scalp, thereby helping hair regrowth.

How to Use
Apply half a capful (equivalent to 1g of foam) 2 times a day to the scalp in the hair loss area.
Massage into scalp with fingers, then wash hands well.
Using more or more often will not improve results.
Continued use is necessary to increase and keep your hair regrowth or hair loss will begin again.

Easy-to-Apply Foam
Unscented, quick-dry Rogaine Foam is easily integrated into your daily routine.

- Reviewed in Canada on May 8, 2025Verified PurchaseOkay, so my hair was starting to get a bit thin up top, you know? It was kind of getting to me. I figured I'd give that Rogaine foam for guys a shot. You just squirt a bit onto your fingers and rub it in twice a day – easy peasy.
At first, nothing much happened, and I was like, "Hmm, is this even doing anything?" But I kept at it. After a few months, I started seeing little baby hairs popping up in those thinner spots. Slowly but surely, my hair started to look a bit thicker. It wasn't like BAM, full head of hair again, but it definitely made a difference, and I felt way better about it. You just gotta stick with it!

Totally worth switching to 鶹. My husband says he lives by this stuff- it does save your hair- try using rosemary as well with this for better results and keep at it! You'll get results!
- Reviewed in Canada on December 26, 2024Verified PurchaseRogaine is the gold standard of minoxidils. It is a well known brand; available everywhere, it is expensive, but does it work? Hard to say since I just started using Rogaine (summer of 2024).
I have a love/hate relationship with minoxidil. At times, I think it's working wonders, other times I am lamenting my thinning hair. With that said, I still have hair so I guess it does work after all. For years, I was using a much cheaper alternative (a trusted brand) to Rogaine however it looks like it has been discontinued because I cannot find it anywhere. I do not fully trust "no name" brands (I have tried some and was very unimpressed) so I had no choice but to default to Rogaine. It is much more expensive and hurts the wallet, usually averaging $120 for a 3 month supply (in contrast to the brand I used to buy which averaged around $80 for a 6 month supply online), but the prices here on 鶹 are much better; prices do fluctuate and I was able to obtain this at a much cheaper price during their Black Friday sales.
The foam is easy to use but I have to admit I prefer the liquid as I find it much easier to manage. You are supposed to only use half a cap full of foam, twice daily. It is kind of tricky measuring half a cap of foam since you basically have to eyeball it. Sometimes I use too little, sometimes I use too much (and I know this because one container is supposed to last one month and sometimes I run out of product prior to one month which tells me I used too much product). Another issue with the foam is that I find a lot is wasted when you reach the bottom of the container. You can tell there is still a generous amount of product within and I shake it vigorously hoping I can get the last remaining foam out but I can't; it never comes out, and it pains me to throw out a can knowing there is still product inside. The liquid minoxidil usually comes with a dropper which is far more useful and I am able to use all the product, up to the very last drop, so there is never any waste of product and money.
With that said, this is a trusted brand and since I still have my hair, I shall award it high marks but since it is expensive I feel the need to remove one star since many will not be able to afford it and the waste with the foam (mentioned above) does leave me feeling a bit bitter.
***1/2 out of 5 for the foam.

- Reviewed in Canada on May 7, 2025Verified PurchaseSummary: Go see a dermatologist or trichologist before purchasing and using this product
I want to caution people who are considering using this product, as I think there’s a lot of misinformation out there about both hair loss and minoxidil.
I was experiencing some excessive shedding during my last year of university. It was brought to my attention as well that my hairline had appeared to recede slightly. It sparked insecurity, so I immediately jumped to Minoxidil as its advertised as being the solution to your hair loss. I used it for a while as the box states it will take several months to notice results.
As others have reported, I saw no improvements and the product simply lead to an increase in hair shedding. Concerned I went to see a trichologist and dermatologist. They both told me that I didn’t need the product as the hair loss was likely stress related and my hairline was maturing due to age, and that progressive hair loss was not on their radar when looking at me.
If you have MPB, this product will not treat the cause, it can maybe slow it but other cases it’ll speed things up due to the shedding. This drug also requires you to use it for life as the hairs become dependant on the product to keep growing.
I experienced side effects too, headaches, dandruff, heart palpitations, and got dark circles under my eyes. I’m 23, I shouldn’t feel and look so dismal.
So I would advice anyone who is considering using the product, please go see a dermatologist or a trichologist if you can beforehand. They will let you know if it’s something you need, and can address side effects as they arise. I had to endure the shed after quitting the minox and anxiously await my hair growing back healthily for a while. The product made my hair worse, and it was a long wait before it got back to normal.
Not everyone’s situation will be the same as mine, but please just do yourself a favour and speak to a professional before commuting to taking a drug the rest of your life. There should seriously be the requirement for a prescription to use this stuff.
