    I'm extremely happy with this pen holder on my new day timer. This would work well on a clipboard or any book. You just need a clean smooth surface to attach it to. I highly recommend this product. really think about where you want to place it before you stick it on. in hindsight I would have liked it a little closer against my day timer. but it is really handy how they shaped it so that you can line up the points with the edge of your book. Another option to the company if you're changing your design is to maybe put a few little ruler lines on either side of the points. I think the company did a great job of labeling with both providing clear instructions, and using minimal packaging.

    I have been using this for about a week on a notebook that I carry a lot. I have no complaints at all. I do have one caveat; one of the questions I was just asked is about value for money. That only received a four-star. I am NOT saying it is not a good product, but, other than R&D costs, the manufacturing costs themselves should not warrant this price. I think it should be about 60% of what I paid, but it was worth buying one. It just means I probably would not buy more for other notebooks without pen sleeves.
