The ROBERTS carpet rake and groomer is ideal for quick and easy carpet maintenance. By using a 'push pull' motion the rake releases trapped in dirt, pet hair and debris and pulls it to the surface so that the vacuum can remove it. By using a 'rake like' motion the carpet pile is revived with a 'like new' appearance. Also makes vacuum tracks disappear. It's three part handle can be disassembled for easy storage.

Easy to use, just join all the parts and get going. Overall feels sturdy, the bristles are plastic. I do wish they were a bit more aggressive so that you could really "comb" more matted carpets. But they still get the job done with firm pressure and none have broken, with careful use.
I use before vacuuming to help open the weave best as possible for cleaning. Seems to work very well with a good beater bar vacuum. Makes rugs and carpet look very nice when used again afterwards.

This product is so so. It doesn’t work very well on a low pile rug even though it says it does in the advertisement it does work better on a higher pile rug. The rake is kinda flimsy especially for the $51.00 plus tax price tag I was expecting a better quality item. If it had a selling price of no more than 20.00 a person would expect that quality.

The handle is pretty wonky, but a $9 replacement wooden handle from �鶹�� fixed that. You can screw the bottom handle segment back in for stairs, or just buy a handheld version of this device, as I did, for use in compact areas.
