    - Großartige Bildqualität mit toller Schärfe, großartigen Farben und Top Schwarzwert
    - Guter Ton
    - Tolle Musik
    - Prima Darsteller und Story
    - Großartiges Bonusmaterial

    und das alles in einem sehr tollen Mediabokk mit informativen Booklet. Die Story sollte bekannt sein und wurde zuletzt erst nochmal umgesetzt mit Jake Gyllenhal. Dieses Remake ist auch sehr gut geworden kann aber meiner Meinung nach nicht ganz mit dem Klassiker aus den 80er Jahren mithalten.

    Reseña "profesional" que haya leído sobre esta película es reseña que la defenestra, así que me veo en la obligación de reivindicarla porque sé que "Roadhouse" es una cinta de acción que, junto a otro puñado, dejó huella en toda una generación (que me incluye) de niños y adolescentes de los primeros 90'. Los personajes son abundantes pero cuajan perfectamente con la historia, dando la impresión de que son los suficientes. Destaca el fallecido Swayze, que interpreta al lacónico Dalton, un tipo pacífico y espiritual hasta que la situación requiera lo contrario y le obligue a escatimar palabras y repartir mamporros (cosa que, para su desgracia, le sucede todos a diario). Ben Gazzara como terrateniente impune y déspota del pueblo regido por su propia ley también me fascinó. Nunca se ve opacado por la estrella de Swayze.

    ¿Previsible? ¿Exagerada? ¿Llena de clichés? Claro, pero a su vez entetenidísima, y no solo por la acción a raudales, sino también por algunos diálogos ingeniosos y ciertas situaciones que contienen un humor bastante particular.

    Mención especial a la banda sonora interpretada por la agrupación del también desaparecido Jeff Healey. Esos covers bluseros de The Doors, Creedence y Bob Dylan son maravillosos y encajan perfectamente con la atmósfera de la película.

    A long time ago when Film was exciting, entertaining & where you escaped reality, Films like this were released by the bucket load.

    One of them which was released in 1989 was this - Rowdy Herrington's Modern day Action packed Western,Road House, a drifter comes into town to clean up a hellhole of a club of which the club is run by locals who control the police & everyone else of which one powerful man rules with his goons backing him up. Dalton, played by the late Patrick Swayze has other ideas as he is paid to take out the trash!

    Fights, violence, shoot outs, swear words, stunning hot adult women, & sex make this one of my favourite movies & is a very good Film, as I watch it even more Director - Rowdy Herrington deserves a lot more of respect than he gets from critics, & other media sources who pan this movie. Well I will say this to people who hate this movie - this is a proper movie of which Film used to be & in my view still is, I can't stand these poor adaptations of comic books onto the big screen!

    I've given this 2 disc collectors edition from Shout Factory 5 stars because the release has nearly everything on the 2 discs, good, solid picture & sound & a lot of special features including - feature length making of documentary, audio commentaries, other small docs & other stuff make this a fantastic release!

    To anybody who doesn't own this classic near gem of a movie then I recommend this collectors edition of Rowdy Herrington's Road House!
