    Jolie Vines has a permanent place in my heart as a favorite author. This story was so well done; and I have to give credit where due and say that I really really enjoyed the change up in this installment from the traditional set up in the other two books. It added a lot of dimension to the story and I was really happy to see certain characters get the spotlight.

    Plus; the spicy tension and character chemistry was OFF THE CHARTS. Just like Connor's Claim I was fully immersed, yelling at the book and feeling all the feels.

    I really appreciate the author's writing style and really have to point out the creativity in that there were several times in the other two books that I had suspicions about the final mystery. I questioned myself back and forth a few times and to me, that's just dang good writing. If you can make your audience generate speculations and then go back and forth on then, that's good storytelling in my mind.

    Awesome series; a must-have for any dark romance lover.

    Jolie Vines delivers another gritty, heart-racing masterpiece in Riordan’s Revenge, the explosive finale of the Body Count series. As the third installment, this book hits the ground running with action, danger, and a scorching romance that doesn’t hold back. While I only read the ebook (the audio isn’t available yet), this wild ride was more than worth it.

    Let’s talk about Cassie—what a force of nature! She’s a tiny ball of fury, sharp as steel, and fearless to the core. She doesn’t just embrace the crazy—she owns it. Watching her claim Riordan, unorthodox methods and all, was pure entertainment. Their chemistry is electric, their dynamic insane in the best way, and the love they discover is raw and gripping. Riordan himself matches her madness step for step, his revenge-fueled mission blending seamlessly with her chaotic, determined nature. These two are certifiably crazy—and I loved every second of it.

    I especially enjoyed how the story brings back the gritty charm of the Dark Island Scots. Even though I haven’t read that series (yet), the protective camaraderie they offer Cassie and their hesitant acceptance of Riordan felt like a warm reunion. It’s clear there’s a whole world of stories to explore here, and I’m eager to dive into that series soon.

    As with the rest of the Body Count trilogy, the danger never truly disappears, and the stakes remain high. But seeing Cassie and Riordan navigate firsts together, work through their fiery emotions, and build something undeniably strong in the midst of chaos was incredibly satisfying. I also loved the teasing glimpse of Convict and the lingering hope in his story—it’s a promise of more chaos and passion to come.

    This book was intense, steamy, and just the right kind of unhinged. With more to come from Jolie Vines, I’ll be keeping a close eye on the rest of this saga. If you’re into dark romance with a splash of madness, Riordan’s Revenge delivers it all.

    Riordan and Cassie overwhelmed me, but in a good way. Cassie craved Riordan from the moment she saw him, and she proved it by kidnapping him. Cassie definitely has bats in her belfry but that's what I love about her. Riordan is stunned with all the violence happening but eventually comes into his own. His calm soothed Cassie's beast.

    There is steam and suspense to the max. I anticipate the next book in this world to be EPIC.

    This was a really great story!!! It had a few plot and grammatical errors and missing words here and there, but still a fantastic story to read!! I can't wait for the continuation!!! I've read all three of the Bodycount series and plan to own them all. Riordan is definitely my favourite of all three men!!

    Now that I finally know who the murderer is, I can also tell you that the author did a great job.

    I’m nearly speechless. I mean this book was absolutely perfect. The conclusion to the body count series murder mystery was a blast of a ride. Cassie is the best FMC I may have ever read. She is unfailingly honest, confident even when she’s not really confident, and she owns her power without apology.     Riordan goes through a lot but his growth was amazing, I was cheering him on the whole time as he went from a little, rightly so, scared of Cassie and her intentions to slowly finding family and love in her all while finding himself and what it is he needed to overcome all the hurt he’d carried through his life. Cassie is his perfect match and the way they both support each other, protect each other, and care so deeply made their story so special. Jolie is an incredible writer with the amount of suspense and action mixed with deep stories of love and self actualization she weaves flawlessly. This conclusion story was like a magnum opus.
    The twists and turns were so fun but even more exciting was getting to have some more time with the DIS fam! That made me soooo happy, even the little inclusion of Max and Maddock 😍 I just love them all so much! While you don’t need to read her prior books to read this series I highly recommend you do because then you’ll enjoy those family moments even more but also why would you deprive yourself of her incredible work?!
    This one is going to stick with me forever. I don’t think I’ve ever highlighted a book so much as this one. There were so many good lines. I was laughing, swooning, aching with heartbreak, and on the edge of my seat the entire time.
