Got it on special so the price was lower! I love how easy it was to connect to my existing ring devices. It makes your wifi connection stronger on your cameras too! The sound quality is excellent. Very useful since I used to miss some doorbell notifications on my phone when it is on silent.
It is great because you can customize the notifications to get doorbell notifications but you can also get the movements notifications. You can also sleect different chimes for each notification so it is very useful.
It is a little bigger than the normal ring chime but you also get a nightlight which I think is very nice to have in the hallway at night!
I recommend buying the Chime Pro rather than the regular Chime!

We have two ring cameras, one’s a stick up on our shed & another is our doorbell. Our house is so old and divided inside by many walls that even with two WiFi extenders we had WiFi loss and connection so frequently. I ended up ordering the chime after reading many reviews and was not disappointed. Not only was it such an easy and quick set up, but our cameras haven’t had an issue since & the quality has gotten much better. We went from having and Rssi of 60 on our camera to 42 with the chime. Super happy with it! Would recommend to anyone else who has similar issues. Also a plus is nightlight and being able to switch different tones for the cameras

Long story short, I tried two different and higher end wifi extenders to get a stronger signal to my ring doorbell which was receiving an RSSI of 72 (weak) signal but both were junk no matter where i placed them. Discovered the chime pro while researching other options including costly routers, was surprised to read the chime pro extended wifi for the ring camera so I immediately ordered it. This thing is awesome! took a minute to set up and whenni switched my camera network from my wifi to the chime pro network in the app my signal went from a crap RSSI 72 to a strong 49, couldn’t believe it, its like video quality is HD compared to the 480p i was getting with terrible signal strength before. This thing saved me money as I was about to buy one of those space age looking routers with twenty antennas. This thing looks good compared to the ugly ass gigantic four antenna octopus looking extender I tried and returned, the chime pro is sleek and small plus it has a night light! Finally a piece of tech which just plain works.
