Cee Bowerman writes romance novels with a hint of suspense and plenty of sarcasm. She likes to write about what she knows, so her books always include a strong heroine and a happily ever after.

Cee has her own happily ever after with her bearded, tattooed husband, who doesn't mind that she's always either reading a book or writing one. Together they have three kiddos who are grown but not quite grown up, three dogs who think they are royalty and a grandson who really is.

She grew up in Texas, and can't imagine living anywhere else. Her stories are mostly centered around a small town in the Texas Panhandle, where family and loyalty are the most important parts of the character's lives.

    A beautifully written story of love and loss and finding new ways to love again.
    This is the first book of the second generation in the Tempest family. I loved revisiting some of the original family and getting a glimpse of the current generation.

    This was a fantastic read! Unconventional romance at its finest. I can't wait for more in this series, although this one knocked it out of the park! Constance Romano, known affectionately as Stan, fell in love with her two bisexual bodyguards, and they were well on their way to forming a loving triad. Park and Sully both are wounded in an incident, and their memory centers in their brains are affected; they remember they're a couple, but any memories of Stan being their third are gone, lost in the murk of TBIs and comas. Stan meets Rin, whose family is nearly as complex as hers, and together they forge a bond that is nothing shy of miraculous, a phoenix rising from the ashes. Rin and Stan care for Park and Sully after they're released from the hospital, and they become a very unusual but loving family.

    The book was great, really good to revisit the Tempests, sad that Sins mom had died especially in the way she did after the Loki book but true to life i guess.
