    This u-lock with a five-foot steel cable will certainly slow down any bike thief. The u-lock itself is a little on the small side compared to what I have used in the past. However, when you read the instructions you are able to use the u-lock and cable together to cover a wider range of locking methods. So perhaps a large u-lock is not ideal, especially considering the space limits some bikes have.

    Although the u-lock is small, it still has some decent weight to it. For me, the smaller u-lock is ideal for my electric kick scooter. When I lock it up on a post, bike rack or even a sign pole, its smaller size makes it impossible to work the lock over the handle bars. The folding lock I now use could be worked over the handles bars. Unfortunately, the mounting bracket will not fit on my scooter, I will just place it in my backpack to take it with me. The entire lock is covered in a durable silicone and the steel cable is coated in PVC. Both of these stop scratches from happening on your bike. This u-lock comes with two keys.

    Overall, I know this u-lock is helpful in stopping bike thieves, and its small size makes it easier to carry than other larger u-locks.

    I got this bike lock for some bikes that we have to store outside overnight as we do not have an indoor location to store them.

    I was impressed upon opening with the solid construction and heavy opening of this lock. Additionally, the silicone covering of the U-lock gives it a softer feel despite its heft and makes it easier to grip. The lock opens and closes smoothly.

    Like the listing says, no lock can defend against all theft but this one certainly makes me feel better to have for our bikes.

    This Bicycle U-lock with 5ft Cable is exactly what I have been looking for. I’ve been carting around a U-lock and a separate cable for years. This is a better solution for me since it’s way more compact, faster to lock up (1 lock instead of 2), and easy to pack. The U-lock is smaller and the cable is easier to use.

    This U-lock and cable are sturdy since they are made with quality alloy steel and are covered with silicone so they won’t scratch or damage a bike frame.

    If you are looking for a sturdy, compact and reasonably priced lock, this is a great option.

    It seems like bike thefts are more and more common and the criminals responsible have more tools in their arsenal. I appreciate that this lock has double protection. Both a U Lock and a 5 foot cable. Yes, it takes a bit longer to lock your bike up but those criminals will move onto an easier mark when they see there are two layers to defeat.
    Both the U Lock and cable are well made with solid quality materials. At this price point there is no reason not to scoop up this security for your bike.
