Product description

Designed to simplify the installation and maintenance of large diameter plastic pipe. If you join pipe this is a tool that should be in your box. The RIDGID 42478 STRAPLOCK Pipe Handle securely grips plastic pipe from 3 inches to 8 inches, giving you maximum leverage in tight quarters and allowing you to confidently apply force in all directions. Acting as a second set of hands on the job, the STRAPLOCK looks like a strap wrench, but is designed to provide a solid handle on hard-to-grip plastic pipe so you can easily align and set glued joints, even in cold and wet environments.

The specialized strap provides maximum grip and minimizes marring, while its innovative locking design allows for repeatable applications. Offering versatility, the adjustable STRAPLOCK quickly adjusts to accommodate different pipe sizes easier than the typical strap wrench. For complex jobs, you can use more than one to easily pull pipes together.

This pipe strap wrench has a strap length of 31 inches (800 mm) for a 3-inch to 8-inch pipe capacity.

    Resuelve muy bien el problema de sujetar tuberías porque NO se patina a diferencia de otras llaves que ni sujetan o no tienen la fuerza en el punto de contacto para abrir un vaso de filtro, aflojar una tuerca unión de PVC. Permite sujetar muy bien un tubo ya que la llave se "cierra" y permite un buen apalancamiento, no lastima la mano. Realmente es un buen producto, bien diseñado y logrado. Lo recomiendo.

    Works best when using two of the StrapLock pipe handlers on 4" PVC pipe.
    Straplock holds the strap length between uses. No re-adjustment needed!
    So set up one strap to fit the bell end of the PVC pipe and the other strap to fit the the pipe diameter.
    A must have set of tools when trying to pull lengths of larger diameter PVC pipe together before the adhesive sets up. Just finished a job with 500 feet of 4" PVC pipe and was accomplished with out any cuss words because I used the Rigid Straplock pipe handle strap wrench.
