Helps Prevent Overfilling and Potential Spills

Rhino's RV Tote Tank Gauge shows your tote tank levels to help prevent overfilling and potential spills. This universal gauge works with most tote tanks with a ¾-inch garden hose male connection. The 1 ½-inch diameter gauge is approximately 3-inches tall (when installed). Easy to use, the gauge simply screws onto the male hose port of your tote tank. Once attached, the float gauge indicates when your tote tank is getting full. The gauge allows your tote tank to vent while filling or dumping. When transporting your tote tank, the gauge can be closed to seal the tank.

    It does tells the current level of sewage water of the tote.

    FYI, you will have to slide it up during the filling and draining out. Don't forget to slide it back down when travelling to the sani dump to prevent any messy leak.

    My waste tote is about half the size of my waste tank, so I can't just open the valve and let it empty. Previously I was opening and closing multiple times because even with a clear elbow attachment it was hard to tell how full the tank was, especially while actively filling. And emptying a black tank is not the time you want to have an accidental overflow!

    I am so glad I bought this attachment. It saved me so much time and effort because I could just watch the indicator and know when I had to close the valve. I saw a review on here that the inner part would fall into the tank, but I suspect that reviewer received a faulty item because mine is securely attached.

    I like that it can be pulled up into the 'open' position to allow air to escape from the tank during filling, and then pushed down to close during travel to prevent leaks.

    My only regret about this purchase is that I didn't do it sooner. It makes an unpleasant chore easier and faster so I'm very happy with it.

    I bought this guage so I could tell when my Campco tote was getting full. I have used it for two trips to the dump station. The first time the tank was not full enough to activate the guage. The second time i could see the guage moving around but not rising. The tank still didn't have enough fluid to raise the float. I'm sure it will work fine with a fuller tank. Installation was very easy. To vent the tank I just pulled up on the guage housing to open the vent opening. To close the vent just push the housing down. I think the price is a bit much, but since this tank and float will be used more often than I would like it was a fair price to prevent filling issues. I would buy again.
