Great Set for Good Price
This is a nice set of glass straws for a good price ($8.99). With three different styles of straws these are quite versatile. The longer straws have a larger hole for thicker items and the shorter straws are a bit thinner. The advantage of glass straws is the ability to see inside the straw and how clean it is. While it is safe to place these in the dishwasher, they don’t always come out clean and instead gather debris from the water that is being sprayed through it. Hand washing is better and included with the straws are two cleaning brushed. I find these brushes are not quite as round and full as other brushes I have, but they do clean adequately. The brushes are not long enough to go the whole way through the straw, so you do have to clean from each end to get everything. Of course the disadvantage of glass straws is that fact that they are fragile and can break if not treated with care. These straws are made a thick glass to prevent them from breaking easily. The material on the straws is smooth and consistent.
