    I bought these to try and reduce the amount of ice I have to buy every week for the business. I use the entire 5 pack for a small cooler to try and keep water and Gatorade cold for myself and crew (own an electrical contractor). The ice packs keep things cool, but isn’t a full replacement for using ice in a cooler. They do work much better on a lunchbox size cooler, we used them this past weekend to take some food to the pool. For the few hours there they worked well.

    One big plus I’ve noticed with these is that they do not leak. I filled them all when I first received them and haven’t had any leaks. Condensation does build up on the outside that can get your food/drinks wet, but no where as bad as melted ice does.

    The size of these are perfect to put one in a lunch box and keep the food cold. For a larger cooler like I had intended, they're great since it doesn’t take up a ton of space, though their size may be the reason for the issue with keeping a larger cooler cold.

    Overall, it’s a good product for a replacement of the chemical filled ice packs, but not a replacement for a bag of ice in a big cooler.
