    Retaoldth Folding Bed Rails for Elderly Seniors, Adjustable Heights Bed Assist Safety Bar, Fit King, Queen, Full, Twin, Medium.

    The bed rail comes in pieces but is easy to assemble. The bottom metal fastener has several screw holes and can be inverted, so it give lots of adjustment room for different mattress thicknesses. One thing to note is that it is designed for a single mattress on a solid base. If you have a box spring and mattress, this will not work because you will have nothing to securely fasten this rail to. When fastened to a solid base, I found the angled bottom piece still had some flex on the highest mounting point. I didn't try it on the lowest setting because it was too low for my thicker mattress. I still felt it was secure. There was some additional flex in the rotating joints of the rail assembly itself. They are plastic and there is some give. I feel this is the weak point of this device. I don't think it will break so I am still confident enough to use it. It looks worst than it actually is.

    The rail is thick and easy to grip and the trigger to allow it to fold is easy to use. The rail folds down to the front or back as needed. When used in conjunction with the adjustability of the bottom fastening pieces, it basically gets out of the way for getting in and out of the bed.

    This is a nice folding bed rail. It is ideal to add to a bed to assist in getting up or to help you from accidentally rolling out. I don't think it is heavy enough to be the primary support for an incapacitated person.
