    Very sturdy and balanced however, one of the seat wings is difficult to move and there is no time for hesitation when transferring the kind of individual that will need this unit. Additionally it will not come close enough to a chair to make transfer easier and the need to step up on the platform made it too difficult to use.

    Assembling the device was simple and easy and my husband’s physical therapist and I had everything in place in less than 35 minutes. My husband requires 2 people to assist him with standing. Before the Patient Lift, we could only hold him up and have him stand for only few seconds. Now during his physical therapy sessions, the Patient Lift is so helpful in allowing us to place my husband in a standing position for 1-2 minutes at a time to help strengthen his legs. The seat rest is awesome!! The sturdiness and stability of the device continues to give my husband, the confidence to continue with his therapy sessions and having the desire to do more.     Absolutely a great product. This works perfectly for my husband he is unable to walk but can stand long enough to be transferred to bed,chair,car and ect. I would not been able to bring my husband home from the hospital without the product. The seat offers a security when transport to prevent a fall.     I loved this. It was the only way that I could move my 6'2" and 225 pound husband who is non-ambulatory around the house. As long as the pt. has the ability to pull themselves up. I'm so sad because while transferring my husband, a support bolt on the seat flaps severed off. I bought it exactly one year ago. 😢
    So....... it is a wonderful piece of medical equipment, just wish it didn't break.
