This Vividye UV resin glue is good! It sticks well and is thin enough to get into cracks easily. I had a cracked acrylic ball. I filled the cracks with this, UV blasted it, and the repair is holding. It took quite a while to get 20 seconds on every bit of the cracks, as the included flashlight has a very small spot. I think it's made for curing small spot repairs. As a bonus, I don't have to swipe my daughter's UV nail glue now to fix things 😊 One point is lost for the charging cable. USB-C was mainstream in 2015. I got rid of all my micro-USB and older stuff about 5 years ago. I got tired of all the cords. There is NO reason to still have a vintage MicroUSB charge port on something new in 2025. It's just annoying.

    So far this has worked really well for me. It was really easy to use and I like that you get a convenient little UV pen, makes it much easier to get started using the glue right away. So far I've only used this to repair the strap on a pair of knockoff croc sandals I have. They're my favorite, but the strap ripped and I wasn't able to find anything that worked. This was easy to apply and seemed to cure well. It will need to pass the test of time, if it doesn't I'll come back and update this post.

    I did dock a star because I'm a little skeptical on how well this truly cures if you're not using it on a clear item. I've worked with UV resin a bit and it's really only supposed to be used on clear items so all of the resin will be exposed and cure. If it's not clear there is a chance the resin that's not exposed will NEVER cure and that can lead to exposure to a pretty hazards chemicals. I think this worked all the way as the area I was curing was very close to the surface, but I just wanted to warn anyone incase you are using this for something children or pets may be exposed to. Just use caution.

    I'm already familiar with UV glue, that can be used for damaged cords or eyeglasses.

    Our use was a set of headphones that are well liked, and the sheathing is inferior leading to many cracks.

    Previously all I had was a small pen, that had a tiny light and a small amount of the glue.

    This set has a more powerful flashlight and much more generous amount of glue.

    It definitely works best, to build up thin layers of the glue, curing in-between. And of course keep the glue container away from the UV light and sunlight!

    I picked up this UV resin glue kit as I have a few projects that need something a bit more heavy duty than superglue to hold things together. It's super easy to use - spread your UV glue on the pieces that need to be bonded, and then shine the included UV light on it until it cures. The UV light is rechargeable, with a very short USB cable included.

    There are a few caveats with this glue. First of all, it works best on clear/translucent things so the UV light can actually get to the spot that needs to be bonded. You can somewhat get around this if you make the layer thick enough between the two pieces so it can cure, but keep your expectations in check. The other thing I've found is while the instructions said 5 seconds to cure, it took upwards of 15-20 seconds for me. I ended up using a different UV light that is a lot more powerful than the little rechargeable one that it came with, and had a little faster cure time. Nice to have in a pinch though.

    Note that the light is inside the box with the glue. At first I was very confused that there was a box for the glue, but nothing else. The light is that small that it indeed fits inside that box.
