The quality of this blade assembly is just as good as the original. It works smoother, quieter and faster than my old blade that was dull and the bearing was wearing out making it hard to spin. This new blade looks almost identical to the original and performs just as well. The only things that I don't like about it is that the seal is not as easy to remove and install as the original. The original had a little dip in one area of the seat of the seal which made it easier to remove by inserting your fingernail and lifting the seal up and out. This replacement does Not have that dip so it requires some king of pick to pry it out (not supplied). It also seems much easier to install the seal and without removing the stainless steel blade assembly. That being said, I don't like the fact that the blade is made to unscrew from the body. I never had to unscrew the blade on my original in all the years that I've had it. Just more moving parts to loose or break. Those 2 cons (imo) are small inconveniences that are tolerated because of the cost of this product. I purchased it for under $9 (now I see it for under $8!) and I now see it can be shipped "overnight" in my area. That really cool since I use it everyday! Maybe one day it will be same day shipping. Thanks �鶹��!
