Installed on new spindles from JD dealer and they fit perfectly. Have approximately ten hours on the machine since installation with no issues.

I used this on my John Deer L110 riding mower. The wheel bearings certainly made a difference, wheels spin a lot easier on the spindle, and they are better than the metal buchings.

Had to use a 1 inch socket to install the bearings a 1 1/8 would have been better it was a tight fit. Could not use all the needle spacers due to not enough room to put the c clip on. The plastic covers are very soft and fit right on. Over all a good buy the old bearings had start to wear a groove on the spindle

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy install, but check for bumps on the front axle pivot bar
Reviewed in the United States on April 29, 2025

You know how when you think a project is going to take about an hour and you end up spending half a day on it. That's what happened to me. Not because of the parts, they were fine. I installed one side without any issue, but for the other side I spent a long time trying to get the last C-clip on. Turns out there was a couple blobs of excess paint that kept the washer that goes under the C-clip from sitting flush. See photo. This, combined with the extra thickness of the new washers and bearing, was enough that the slot in the spindle the C-clip slides into wasn't exposed enough. I know it was paint because it took 30 seconds to file it off. If it was metal from the casting, it would have taken longer. Hope this helps someone.

The one thing I did notice about the "poor man's power steering" is initally there's a lot of play in the front axle pivot bar. I'm guessing this is by design so as you drive through bumps and divots in your yard the front axle pivot bar pivots (hence the name). Kind of acting like shock absorbers. After you install the washers and the bearing the play is gone and the bar no longer pivots. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Well, one part of my yard has a little hill. It's not bad and I can cut along it. I'm not worried about tipping over, but I do lean myself to one side. It's not necessary but it makes me feel better. After installing the "poor man's power steering", I longer feel the need to lean. My yard is fairly flat so I didn't notice the ride being any more bumpier. I'm guessing if you have an uneven yard, you may be in for a bumpier ride.

That all being said, I found the install to be easy and the quality of the parts seemed good. The mower is easier to push around and the steering is easer too. For $15, I think it's worth the price and time. If the price was $100, I wouldn't have bothered.

5.0 out of 5 stars Complete set of front end bearings.

This is a complete set of wheel & steering arm bearings. My mower didn't have enough room to put the top bearings on, so put them on the inside of the wheel axels. The set was easy to install, fit perfectly, & increased the ease of turning the steering wheel. I can spin my tires now & they just keep spinning for about a minute. I am very satisfied with the fit, & functionality of the bearing set!
