    I've been on a mission to save my bleach-battered hair, so I was excited to try the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Leave-In, and my first impression was that it’s surprisingly light, not that thick, heavy cream I expected, and it has a nice, subtle citrus scent that I really enjoy. The major pro here is the repair: it instantly makes my hair feel softer, silkier, and much easier to detangle right out of the shower, plus I love that it’s an all-in-one product with serious heat protection up to 450 F, which means one less product to layer on my damaged strands, and I've noticed way less frizz and fewer visible split ends. The only cons I’ve found are that it’s definitely not a deep moisturizer, so my coarse hair still needs a separate oil on top sometimes, and if I use even a little too much, it can start to make my fine roots feel stiff or weighed down over time, so you have to be very careful with the tiny amount you apply. My ultimate recommendation is that if you have color damage or breakage, this is absolutely worth the money for the bond-strengthening and smoothing benefits, but stick to a pea-sized amount for your mid-lengths and ends and maybe alternate with a truly hydrating product to keep your hair from getting too stiff.
