About the authors
Roger Priddy is the creator of over two hundred best selling books for young children including Wipe Clean ABC, First 100 Words, and Fuzzy Bee.
When he was at school he couldn't decide between being a patisserie chef or going to art college. On the advice of his father he chose art college and trained as an illustrator before becoming a designer at Usborne Publishing.
Roger's love for children's early learning has led him to create some of the most successful children's non-fiction books, first at Dorling Kindersley (My First Word Book, Incredible Cross Sections and My First Cook Book) before he set up Priddy Books with St. Martins Press in New York where several of his books have sold over a million copies each including First 100 Words, My Big Animal Book and See Touch Feel.
In total he has sold over 150 million books worldwide and his books have been translated into over 30 languages.
He says "It is always rewarding to see a child enjoying and learning something from one of our books, especially the babies when you think it could be the first book they have ever seen.
I am very lucky to have a career where you get to think up fun ways to teach a kid how to write their letters and learn their first words whilst finding out about Dinosaurs at the same time!"
Roger lives in Somerset and has three children, who have given him some of his best ideas for his books.
At Priddy Books, we publish innovative titles for babies, toddlers and young children. Our brilliantly designed books use simple novelties that spark children's creativity and encourage their development.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for color recognition!
Verified PurchaseBought this book for my son when he was 2 to help with color recognition. He is now 3 and still loves this book. It¡¯s very simple, but he really enjoys the color changing interaction. It¡¯s well-built and quite sturdy, and my son hasn¡¯t damaged it yet even with heavy use, but I would still hesitate to give it to a younger child who is very rough with books due to the pull out parts of the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic book to teach colors and intrigue the toddlers
Verified PurchaseBook is little expensive, but it's worth buying. It's worth every penny as my little one started to point colors beacuse of this book. He loves cars and so he started to pull the slides and identify colors. This book is very engaging. So, if you have a baby who loves cars and you want to keep him engaged for a good time, please go ahead and buy this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant little book
Verified PurchaseMy grandson adored this book when he was a toddler, amazingly it¡¯s lasted long enough for his little brother to love it too. The flaps pull down coloured panels to change the colour of the car. I¡¯ve now bought another copy for my great-nephew! It¡¯s a very sturdy book, still in excellent condition after about three years of use. Highly recommended.
